Theme Hospital reference?

Walking around in the Science Wing area I remarked hearing these reassuring messages through the speakers from time to time coming from a female announcer, things like 'keep your cyanide capsules ready' or 'do not exchange bodily fluids due to the virus infection',...

Obviously meant to be funny I think this is a direct reference to Theme Hospital (Bullfrog, 1997) where a same - soothing - voice said things like: Patients are reminded not to die in the corridors
Patients are asked not to vomit too much
and my personal favourite...
Patients are asked to be patient

It's dark humor. I don't know if it's inspired by Theme Hospital though. I think there's a bunch in Portal too, can't remember many of the jokes in it right now.
