I’ve never played a game that’s affected me as much as SOMA, and to be honest I’m not sure I want to ever again, although I’m very glad I did. It has the DNA of movies like Alien, 2001, Sunlight, and Event Horizon, with a splash of the original Dead Space and Bioshock, but brings plenty of new ideas to the table. It makes you think about what it means to be alive, and indeed how you classify life, and is a brilliant example of just how far video games have evolved.

This is like Penumbra, Alien and Outlast mixed together and again i can't defense myself in this game. There will be gun soon?

No weapons entire game. And thats the way its supposed to be ;-)

dont see the outlast reference though, i felt perma-haunted without a bit of story insight while playing outlast / whistleblower. in soma i felt the terror of TDD and the storytelling of a damn good game.
cant really give an example there cause i think its somehow unique, which is damn rare
