RE: Physical game?

Oh, it was just a bit thinking along with the wishes, dunno if it really was about eliminating the risk of loosing a copy of the game, and 't was just a suggestion.

By the way, to any dev's of FG, wouldn't getting this game on CD/DVD and with box-art and all also cost a lot of money? Wouldn't it bring the very affordable price of the game in danger of getting raised? (I'd still pay a full price for this game though, simply love it.)

What do you mean? Do you think it won't sell? Or are you just joking? Confused

I have been told to say I did not mean it, that I think Sweden is great and that regardless of the outcome of the election on Sunday, it will only get better.

Hrm that said, releasing the game here would only happen if we manage to get some deal in place to release in many countries, as it is too small of a market here to do a release only.

They don't have the income to produce and sell the discs to your local gaming stores and I'm pretty sure they would rather not sell out to Activision or another shitty production company.

That's good. Now let us turn in the direction of the Riksdag, kneel and bow before our great and gracious leader John Fredrik Reinfeldt. Next, kill an infant while chanting "Välkommen till verkligheten".

Ahem. Eh, oh yeah that last part of you post makes sense. Tongue

Some, myself included, like that game box in the shelf, but i've ignored that and got the game anyway.

Here in Romania some CG forum users where talking about importing the Russian box, but that might not be an option for many. Idea

RE: Physical game?

I used to staunchly demand only boxed and physical games, myself, but I've come to accept digital media in the context of steam, since it organizes my collection and keeps it in one place, and has a very indie-friendly contract, from what everyone who uses it has said. Much better than a distributor, anyway.

I saw a boxed Penumbra: Overture in half-priced books, and almost bought it again for the box, except that none of that second-hand retail money would get back to Frictional.
