I read on the forum that some people didnt like the games graphics. I totally disagree, the game has great graphics and the physics are good too.

Really nice pics for viewing , but ....

playwise the brightness is much too high and should be toned down.

otherwise it would take too much away from the darkness/creepyness of the game.

actually im using a HD tv/lcd and these have a high contrast ratio which means the darks will be very dark and the whites will be very white...close to natural representation. So when i play the game at night with the lights out...it does feel like its night in the game as well because the dark areas are very dark. I havnt put the dark images here and i will and i know and agree with you that without motion these pics look too bright.

again , very nice ....

but maybe (if your pc can take it) you can take screenshots of the game with parallax occlusion on set to 1 instead of (standard) 0 .

I mean .... playwise this will lag as hell , but for still pictures it will defenitely look better then the standard bump-mapping

wow...nice question deu sex..and great find phoenix....i can definitely see a good difference....it runs with the same fps as b4 though..no lag...around 45-50 fps, taking a few pics.

guys i updated the post.....check out the gallery with the parallax scrolling set to 1, it makes a major difference, a much better one indeed...makes the graphics look even better.

the parallax looks too good buddy...can i increase the parallax setting to more than 1? any ideas on that? or is it 1 or 0 as in true or false?
updated the gallery...added 8 images from the prison. now im off to play the game ,right now at the cistern ( however u spell it ).

by the way, I found this tweak because i was very curious about parallax quality, you can incerase it to 2, but i dont see a real difference, because i am lagging too much ^^ tell me if you see any ^^

I have the proof, sorry my screenshots are really dark, dont know why, bad gamma for my part I think.
