Something I'm missing about using script files?

Put the script in the same folder as the map, with the same name except ending with ".hps".

You MUST be doing something wrong. Do you have 'hide common extentions' disabled so that you do not have MyMap.hps.txt?

Hell yeah, thanks Pandemoneus ! I had that disabled so the script file was still a txt. I changed it and scripts worked immediately.
