Any other horror games you guys play?

Stalker if those games are considered horror, games can certainly be creepy if your stuck under ground or outside at night.

But the enemy sounds kind of deduct from the fear.

You don't know how to fear, or you don't know how to read.

I'm 75% certain he's making a joke, and that line was a lead-in to claiming Minecraft is the scariest game. 25% uncertain because Creepers are genuinely scary when they sneak up on you.

Back on topic, Cryostasis is some good horror, especially the beginning and end. The middle just kind of is there. The inclusion of guns was an initial downer, but their moderate ineffectiveness keeps up the fear.
I've only played the early levels of Metro 2033, but it has that same level of immersion in the world that managed to keep me on edge. They're both actiony, but aren't cheesy schlock like RE5.

Haven't played many true horror games like Penumbra. Dead Space, Stalker, and the Aliens vs Predator games are more into one third horror, one third scare jumps, one third action.
I haven't played the Penumbra series, but I have seen too many spoiler vids of those ones. Now I would love to find another game as scary as Amnesia!

stalker was great , but not really horror. dead space is okay, i also played doom3, which i somehow found to be scarier than dead space.

The gobo on that lanterns a bit strong. I mean, they're there, but not like complete shadows.

I passed through the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy a few days ago, and I must say this is the best Horror-FPS I've ever played. It's not this scary, but epic atmosphere, epic graphic, epic story... just everything was epic. I think I've found my new favourite game.

dont know if its realy a horror game but i played Fatal frame, got bored when i need it to kill this one ghost that was flying around too fast

As far as I know, Minecraft's a casual block-building game, not a horror game. Sure, the creepers can... surprise you, but still.
