Hello dear readers.
(skip the first part if your bored and read the information please)

I'm proud to announce my custom story Castle Dukenstein. It's way far from finished but I couldn't wait to share it. It's my very first story with my first made map in it but in time I have tweaked it alot so it's playable. I would like to ask people to download it and play it if they like and give me some feedback on it so I can adjust the gameplay/structure of it to your likings as much as possible. Also I'd like to get some advices about my scripts/events/looks of the whole map if possible.

So if you are interrested in my map, be my guest. I guess this thread can be used as feedback page? (I'm new so forgive my lack of knowledge about the site)

Before you start playing my map I would like to give some information about the map so you won't keep looking for triggers/solutions which aren't there. But understand, I won't give away surprises Wink I've included hints in the Hints.txt file if you really don't know what to do;

Information:
I've made this map together with a friend of mine. My maps contain some more scripts + events. My maps are the Library, Sleeping rooms and the mid castle. My sleeping room is in progress but there isnt any danger of falling off the mapTongue The starting room is made by my friend which are the starting area + the dining room. The starting area is done but the Dining room might have some missing walls, but feel free to check it out, he's good at decorating!

The sleeping rooms only offer puzzles to get you further into the map. It ends in the Dungeon map with 1 event. after that it's game over so don't try to find any new passages. Wink The mid castle can be get by getting the key from the dining room and go back to the starting area and remove the painting left of the stairs.

Silly me...

Here's some pics lads!

By the way, none of the maps except the starting area is finished, so you might encounter alot of glitches and flickering in textures and maybe objects which should be removed. (Lightning in the hallway to the library , you'll know what I'm talking about when you get there Tongue) And again, I'd like to hear all the bugs/glitches you find annoying and really should be fixed.

Just a question, is this map a reference to the duke nukem 64 arena map Castle Dukenstien? I didn't play it or anything just asking.

Oh christ.

You have mashed loads of level pieces from entirely different sets together all over the place, and it looks pretty bad. Your environments make no sense, your lighting sucks, and there is no indication of what to do, or where to go, and having a million locked doors isn't helping the matter. There's a note with no text, none of the level doors have text to indicate where they go.

Some of the first room is visually interesting, everything else is pretty awful.
