How do I get by all the spiders---where do I put all the bolders? I keep getting killed all the time.

sometimes you can position a big boulder to block off their cave.

shinning your torch directly at them will make them run away
as for the boulders just put over the tunnel entrance blocking it so the spiders can't get you

Right, knowing that you can scare spiders away rather than being eaten and beating them to death makes the game alot easier. Will use that the next time I play this game.

you get it at the very start on the boat and you can't leave with out it the game should not let you leave the boat with out it along with all the other items.

unless you ran out of batteries then your out of luck

Just to make sure: "torch" is not always a burning piece of wood, it's also another word used for those devices often called "flashlight" in other games

if you have dinamite you can kill them, you need 2 dinAMites the first you trough to the eggs of the spiders and inmediatly (2 second after that) you through another and run.SO you make wiht the first one the spiders come out of the eggs and with the second one the will be killed (try not to be near the dinamite when it burns)

Ahhhh thanks I will try this... when you said torch, I imagined a big burning stick

However last night I did try using the flare and they still attacked me. I will see how the flashlight goes.
