.hps not starting solution
If you've ever had the problem of a .hps starting up. It's most likely that you've played the map on Amnesia before you created a .hps for it.
There is one simple solution to this.
Step 1- Take the .map file out of your custom stories' folder, (Idealy out of the Amnesia folder as well) rename it and change it in the editor. (Doesn't have to be a big change, just a small one will do)
Step 2- Delete the faulty .hps BUT if you don't want to re-write the .hps again, copy all of it's text
Step 3- Move your renamed and editied file back into your custom story's maps folder
Step 4- Create a .hps with the same name as your .map in your custom's maps folder
Step 5- Paste all the data back into your .hps
Since I had this problem myself, I was working on the solution for days and I came to this successful conclusion.
