No, I think you confused something with Amnesia.
Amnesia lets you only play one way, Penumbra not. Penumbra is more varied and involves the player more intensive therefore.

I'm sorry but no, I'm not mixing up Penumbra with Amnesia, thank you. I never said that Penumbra only let you play one way, I said that there is only one intended playstyle for the game otherwise it doesn't play out as intended (amnesia removed this choice of playstyle altogether, which made it feel extremely restricted), maybe you need to read my post again?

Oh god same here haha. But then I tried to take on another one, it ran away and called for help haha. Then there was two, I gave up and ran and just got away from them haha
