Import Penumbra Rock Worm?

Import Penumbra Rock Worm?

For my next IRL video, I'm thinking of making one with the rock worm from Penumbra in it, but I can't import the rock worm's .dae into Blender. Maya 2012 doesn't seem to have any collada support from what I can tell.

Anybody know how I can get the model?

well in white night there were rock worms buuuut from using them..............they dont reeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllly work but if you want them just download this mod http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thr...t=penumbra

Oh wow, I didn't realize the rock worm was in White Night (I didn't finish it though... so that's probably why...)

I still can't import that *.dae file... Sad

Though I probably just need to make my own model anyways, the one from Penumbra isn't as high quality as the monsters from Amnesia are (The textures are 4x the resolution, and have a much higher polycount.)

What's the difference between the .dae files of Penumbra and the .dae files of Amnesia? I can import the grunt and brute just fine, but the models from Penumbra won't import at all.

the dae's actually confuse me GREATLEYi mean oh my god you ever open one of those with notepad XD. either way i'm pretty sure thats like the monsters default outline

well think about it like this when you try to open the .dae file of the infected it loads the model no animations nothing just the model. that's what the .dae is as the .ent is the animations/sounds damage and so on

When I try to import it, it does nothing. Nothing appears. I'm thinking my version of the import script might be wrong, but I'm too lazy to install an older version of python so my older version of blender can run an older version of a collada import script needed to import a .dae file written using an older version of the collada format. WHEW!

you probably forgot to also import the .ent and .mat you going to need those two other wise he wont move and will be invisible
