RE: Penumbra Requiem : What to expect?

not really, it isn't talkin about the story line that much.

And im not sure the dogs are under the tuurnagit influence, rnt they guard dogs that have gone wild? And the worm and the spiders are just affected by the tuurngait presence?
I dunno, maybe im wrong.

Either way, hope to see sommething at least mildly similar to the hunter, lol.

give us a better explanation of the Tumagit in terms of if they are really evil, how powerful they really are and other abilities that they posses

...and from which part of our Galaxy did they come from and so... :-P ;-D

My theory is, that the doggies are partly wild and partly used by the Tuurngait hivemind as sentinels of some sort... They are less intelligent than the infected humans, but still smart enough to protect the whole base (including the mines) from any potential trespassers, that could discover the whole alien mystery... As for the spiders and worms - they either became infected too, or were affected by an uknown energy source, brought to Earth by the Tuurngait. Either way, a side effect apparently occured, that gave them the ability to grow much larger than they naturally would. Because they are predatory creatures relying only on simple instincts and skills, and have no real intelligence, the Tuurngait would barely have any practical use for them - at least not a deliberate one...

I don't think the Turngait were/are necessarily evil but trying to survive on their own. There amount of power and force gives them an air of villainy; but notice they aren't trying to take over the world.

Ahh sorry.

Game Profiles: allow user to create a profile, load from it etc...
This means you could have many configuration settings in a profile, but i think the most important was when starting a new game. Instead of adding a game save to your favorites, profiles allowed you to load from different points without having the "new game" erase auto-saves automatically, and them its to late to add them to the favs.

er... dont know if you guys get it..

Example:
Your current game:
Has autosaves (save points)

If you start a new game:
Autosaves will be erased by the new ones

So with game profiles you could have like 10 profiles each one with their own saves, settings etc...no longer worried about deleting any save or adding to the favs (when its to late)

Aah, like in Overlord, Two Worlds, Earth from 2150 upwards and so on?
Good idea, but not really necessary I guess

RE: Penumbra Requiem : What to expect?

Penumbra Requiem should have good graphic...better textures...more polygons...soft shadows..."HD creatures"...

And of curse veryyyy good story with strong atmosphere and lot of "mad/sick/horrorfull" things ;)
maybe the game should be longer also :/
