RE: A Mod for Pigs

Well how 'bout that. Second option would be to modify the config files for the tools to also load assets from the AMFP directory. I'll see if I can get that working.

EDIT: Yeah it works. Can't load both TDD and AMFP assets though, as far as I know. And again I'm not sure if they have new entity types and/or if those new entity types will crash or simply not register with the tools.

The problem is that the new assets in AMFP use a new model format that the old tools can't interpret. The update to TDD will make it possible to load these models though.

Just to clarify - do you mean the update to TDD will make it possible for a TDD mod to load the new models in-game, or the update will mean the TDD editor tools will be able to load the new models?

Both the game and the editors will be able to load the new models.

Both the game and the editors will be able to load the new models.

Do you guys have an idea about when the update happens? Smile

Trying is the first step to success.

Ah that would be the FBX format I've been hearing about? The Collada models load up fine with the old tools though Smile

Also Patrik, can you confirm whether or not the new script functions in AMFP will make it to TDD? There are some that are specific to AMFP but there are really neat ones like SetEnemyBlind or GetPlayerCanSeeEnemy.
