It would then pick it up and broadcast it though the game, you would be making nonstop sounds. And on the other hand, your friend might just want to be a dick and yell "HEY MONSTERS! OVER HERE!" while your playing Big Grin

This would make the game all the more fun and memorable. Tongue

You could implement a noise filter for the buzzing sound, as in only sounds over a certain dB are detected as noise. As for the friend doing that..it would make it more fun and memorable. Tongue The way I see it though, is if your friend is there with you you're already distracted from immersion a little bit anyway...

I'm sorry that I find the random people who register just to post ONCE annoying

It's because of people like you. No-one wishes to return to an unfriendly community.

The idea is pretty damn cool, I can see lots of potential for LPers!
Also, I'd like to mention that Valve was working on some really cool things, and since Frictional is sort of partnering with Steam i see lots of oppurtunity.

Have a read.

very good idea.

I think Amnesia should have used a TAB interface that does not pause the game, and hotkeys for quickly accessing certain items just like Penumbra did.
