Quick summarize from part 1:
Your name is Charles Kelvin Woods. An army council member. You've returned home after a trip to London and various other places in Europe. But there is something wrong with your house. The servants gone, dead. A creature of an unholy nature is after you.

You've learnt that your servant-girl and lover, Sarah, is presumably still alive. You're crawling through a tunnel towards the more private quarters of your castle.
