Black Plague - Computer Circuit Cards

I have found all 3 cards needed.
I have trapped the infected in the server room.
I have the Computer manual (Server Installation Quick Start Guide) AND have read through it (all 2 pages) numerous times.

The problem I've encountered is discerning what Programs should be compiled together for each card. It's not explicitly stated in each programs description in the aforementioned manual what category (boot/network/interface) the program falls into.

I'm finding myself in a rudimentary exercise of permutations. Am I missing something in-game that states more concisely what program goes on what card?

I'm not asking for replies of what program belongs on what card, i am however asking what game play component i am missing that would give me this information, or is the "Computer manual" all that there is?
