I hope this is fixed in the next Amnesia project.

But basically I only did it when the brute chases you escaping the sewers.
I didn't see it coming. But when the Amnesia chase theme went up my arm hairs stood up, I turned off the speakers and let him kill me. XD I was such a pussy at the time.

But now I always try to escape a chase (barely works though).

I did almost that same thing when i first played amnesia And now when i play Amnesia i usually just try to hide or run past him
