I've been meaning to see ben-hur for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I don't have a list stored, so I'll just link some random (worth watching) stuff I come up with:

I enjoy most types of movies. It's hard to pick any particular genre.
Nice selection Have watched a few of them (Truman Show and Pulp Fiction really are two jewels)
If I am to recommend one of my absolute favourite movies: The Wall, written by Roger Waters. the movie is very experimental in its execution which makes it one of a kind.
I personally didn't enjoy the Wall that much. If you want experimental and one of a kind watch any one of Cronenberg's movies. My favorite of his is definitely Naked Lunch which is just a mindblowingly good movie. Excellent acting, excellent score (and excellent saxophone playing by Ornette Coleman himself), excellent cinematography and excellent everything else (though the plot doesn't make any sense, but that's surrealism for you).
BTW Acies Ben-Hur is one of the most incredible movies ever, you
need to see it.
