the bridge with the chain..

I am wondering how to utilize the chained_bridge in my custom story. I have a switch which will be used to lower it, but I have no idea how to make it happen. I know that I will have an area under the lever which, when the lever collides with it will trigger the scripts to make the bridge fall, but I have no idea what scripts will make that part happen. Any help?
