parenting lights to chandeliers?

I have a chandelier with a spotlight with a gobo for effect, but when I hit the chandelier the gobo and the spotlight are stationary. I'm wondering if I can make it so that the spotlight moves with the chandelier? I've tried combining them but that didn't work.
