Ok, I feel pretty stupid, but...

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the string you need to make the fuse for the TNT barrel out of that box. I have tried examining it from every angle and I can see a roll of it in there, but there is no way to knock the top off of it. I even went as far as to watch a walkthough on youtube just to see how to get that darn little piece of string. The guy in the video seems to just take it right off the top of the box. All I can do is examine it with the little eye cursor.

Is there something I need to do or something I'm missing? I feel really stupid for asking this.
