Just thought I'd add number 4 to the healthbar list. 4, Despite all the "realism" claimed in modern shooters there's nothing more unrealistic than regenerating health. When you get wounded in combat you have to do something about it, same with healthbars, you have to do something about it. You won't see any soliders sitting behind walls sucking their thumbs and becoming fully healthy again.
