Dude, I'm stuck at the mansion part.

What should I do after I got the chemistry pot and the red gem ?
And the key to the cellar is stuck. Do I need to unlock it ?
Oh yeah, and I got a key that has no name on it. It just says "Picked up". Is that key just for fun or what ?
