Probably. 2.1 is the whole game from episode I. Download Episode II v. 1.1 that starts from the beginning of episode II so you'll have only 15' minutes or less of game to the steam room. The lever will appear at the left side of the entrance as you look at it from inside the room. I just tried it again and worked.

Big thanks! I did the orb puzzle and got far in the game, but i think there is a bug! At the hose i got in the room where someone was crying and i canme out walked down walked up agean and then showed up light! i walked to it and nothing happened...
The light is there to stop you. You must go on the attic and hide in the wardrobe. Did you use the rope and meat etc to enter the room? If yes then it's not a bug. It must happen this way. You enter the room that the man was crying you hear the shotgun blast and then when you walk outside the room you see the light. If you did all that it's ok.
