"The most exciting RPG games you've ever played"-thread

I played a few dungeon crawler games in my childhood. Don't ask me to name them, but those started it all.

Here's not too long ago:
LoZ: Minish Cap
ES: Oblivion
Bastion
Guild wars(all expansions)

More recently, Guild Wars 2 is pretty epic. I'm only level 14(cap is 80) and I am already dishing out carnage. I can see influences from other games in there, such as L4d2, assassin's creed, and of course the original Guild Wars.

If only I regularly had access to a good internet connection. I'm stuck switching in between home and college Internets to play. : (
