While we wait for Machine For Pigs, i bring my Amnesia mod: Down the rabbit hole.


It consists of a character that falls down a hole and makes friend with a spirit.
Together they face puzzles and dangers to escape from the hole.

Features

- About 2 hours of playing
Takes less if you are faster solving puzzles.

- Oil recovery
When your lantern is off, its oil slowly recovers a little.

- You can carry Candles
You light a candle, it's yours.

- No absolute darkness
When there's absolute no light, you still can see a little further.

- Game Time
Game time goes from night to dawn, so light increases as game progresses.

- Player can die
You can do something wrong, enter dangerous places or touch things you shouldn't. And you die.

- Quests & Player thoughts
For you to understand what are you doing or what's coming on.

- No flying corpses, or senseless jumpscares.

Optionally this mod has a story i hope you may find interesting.

Through events, findings, notes and ghost messages the story unfolds with the game.

But, it is optional to follow/read the story cause you get quest notes to know and understand what are you doing.

If you liked the story, make sure to download the extras file for an extended ending video that uncovers a little more.

There's pickable lamps, pickable tiny grunts, paintings, and other stuff.

Everything is ready to place on the editor, i used relative paths for that.

About code and such, if you find any interesting script ingame, you can check the script files, i added comments to explain what's coming on there. Also you may like the code structure i used or how i faced some codes.
