My favorite is Dogs/Spiders (Especially the Demon Dogs from Penumbra Overture)

It seems like every horror game except FEAR has them (Penumbra, Resident Evil, Doom, etc.)
If done right, it can be done really scary, such as the demon dog appearing in BP, and the umbra dogs.

I like horror games but not the ones that give u nightmares :P
But i like the ones that give you an urge to open every door and drawer that you see for a month :D
