Custom Walking Sounds

I have looked around a bit and couldnt find any tutorial on how to do this.

I have snow that is going to be in my map in great quantity, and i was wondering ifi could create custom walking sounds for when im walking on it.

It will be an IFC so if i have to use that its not a problem.
