I think you can attach it if you zip the file.

Also, why do I have a mapCache file? This is all new to me. it just seemed to appear there out of nowhere.

The .map_cache file is there so the map loads faster in case that someone's computer is not so good in terms of processing. For devs, its kind of a hassle. You should delete it when you make changes to the map

Working on my end. Try deleting the .map_cache
That's all I did and got it working, at least I assume so because that was ALL I did except copy+paste
