No this is still something which is going on separately.
Here we have the Labour and Conservative Party who are pretty clear on staying within the EU, for as long as almost I can remember, UK has been a stuck between voting either Labour or Tories. However now an Independent party called UKIP has gained some steam based solely on their promise of getting out of the EU.
That sounds all nice and well, but UKIP are also wanting to stamp down on immigration, which is not a good thing. To describe UKIP in a few words it would be 'Old' 'Traditional' 'Purist'. I'm not sure if they will be a serious contender at the main elections but so far they won many seats in a previous vote.
Politics in the UK is pretty much the same as everywhere, scary, hopeless and right-wing.
