Be careful. It happened to a friend of mine. In the morning he was dead.
Level editor was still open when they found him. (?)

Try something; locate its .dae (I'm guessing curtains_open.dae)
Rename it to something like bunny_444.dae

Then go to level editor and place bunny_444.dae as static object.

If: 1) The curtains are now correct, then there's another curtains_open.dae somewhere else in your files which is a copy of the deformed man statue. (maybe a mod you have in /custom_stories)

If: 2) You still see the deformed man statue, then the file you just renamed is actually the deformed man statue. Go and bring a backup of the curtains, rename again and check.
