But yes......the Lynch vibe....I can sort of see it, but I'm not convinced it was intentionally done. But, as Bob Ross would say....no mistakes, just happy accidents.

My thoughts as well. But remember, Mulholland Dr. became what it was from a short-lived TV pilot, not necessarily because Lynch started out his conception of it like that.

Either we have a full online movie to come, or the filmmakers were forced to edit it to fit SOMA's continuity and ended up pragmatically going with a disjointed, dreamy look.

I really wish Mulholland drive had been made into the show Lynch wanted....it was so weird. Actually, Lynch should just make a video game.

As far this miniseries is concerned I think what we have seen is what we get....I wish there was more but this seems like that's it.

So perhaps your parallel between this and Mulholland drive is more appropriate than you think.
