Sutter/jitter despite consistent frame latency

Observed some things with the performance of the game:

If you're at 60fps with any of the monitor hz frequency (via in game settings), you get a smooth experience, however there are minor slight stutters when panning the camera.

If you're at something higher than 60fps, i.e. 96fps with any monitor frequency, the game has an noticeable ghosting effect in the image, which is consistent and therefore feels like a type of stutter in it's own way.

I have tried this with all available vsync option (off/on/adaptive) and the results are the same -though I would add that with vsync on things are a tad smoother.


Any ways, it seems that no matter what you do, this game doesn't like any thing over 60fps and even then it's got something funky going on with it.
