I agree. Okay, there were parts of the game where I was a bit too shaken up to continue, but that's OK, that's good, it just got me to take a break.

However, you do get used to items triggering monsters and meh... having to check for hiding places and prepare myself mentally for picking up a piece of paper? Not the best thing. I think that's the only area of this game where the horror was diminished by predictability.
