There's nothing wrong with taking it slow. That's how I play Thief (and how I played the Penumbra tech demo, incidentally). I play without saving so I have to be extra cautious and take everything with very careful planning and timing. It takes a long while to complete a mission, but it adds so much to the tension. o.o;

Oh ya there definitely isn't. I just remember playing the penumbra tech demo at like 3 in the morning, was too freaked out to rush around anyway haha. And penumbra will definitely be a game to go slower in.
