Ah, that's kind of a shame, a good attic with a load of old junk in it would have been cool, even if there was no story-related reason to enter it.

But still, discovering secret areas is always a lot of fun. I always tend to enjoy the exploration and puzzle-solving aspect of horror games much more than combat, which is probably why I'm so interested in your story.
