Difficutly of making levels

I've just started making my own maps and know a little bit on scripting. The map editor is pretty easy to use to make geometry and place misc. items.

But getting them to perform actions is where scripting comes into play. It's got a learning curve if you're not familiar with scripting. So far, for me, it's becoming easier, and this is like my third day.
