Custom sounds issue.

For some reason, I can't find any info about this anywhere on the forums, wiki or in the gamefolder.

If you want to add custom sounds that get played when you interact with an area; Where do you place these sounds, and how do you refer to them?
In all the scripting examples, you would only use the name of the file + the extension.
But how does it know where to find those?
