New Resident Evil game (On PC)

Is that somehow a bad thing?

Although I love Left 4 Dead and played hundreds of hours, seeing games with completely same mechanic makes me think "why would I buy and/or play same thing again?".

A good Racoon City campaign for Left 4 Dead would be enough. Why make it a new game? Even naming it with a different title?

I loved Resident Evil series until 5 came out. Seeing it moving into same direction makes me sad.
