Oh and Statyk. I can see you forgot to use condoms. Because I can see Jr here opening his first cute thread! Its like watching a baby's first steps!
Enemies from Black Plague look scary, enemies from Overture and Amnesia do not, especially Overture.

Nice comparison, but maybe you should explain your positive and negative points a bit more? For example having "you are faster than your enemies" and "weak enemies" as negative points kinda implies that you see frequent player death as a positive thing. Which is debatable, considering Frictional's design philosophy for horror... Likewise there is no real explanation given for why you see the insanity mechanic as a bad thing. Is it because of the gameplay implications that stem from it? Or the annoying effects?

I think your review could be more helpful to people considering to buy either of the games if you gave reasons for the points you bring up. That way everybody can decide if that's a point he'd find negative as well or if it's a feature that wouldn't bother him Smile
Well by weak enemies is they can have multiple attacks on
you and they inflict very little damage while in amnesia 1-2 attacks and your
dead.So Amnesia forces you to be more careful. Yes you can easily outrun
enemies in Black Plague while you cannot in Amnesia.I think the insanity
mechanism was taken from call of cthlulhy: dark corners of the earth game, so
it is not something new.It is annoying, basically a few seconds in the dark and you
start losing it.

Well since i played all 4 i would say BP and Amnesia are
amazing, Amnesia as i mentioned is scarier. Both a must play!! Overture killed
it for me cause you have weapons and you can kill your enemies pretty handily,
therefore ruining the scare effect for me.Still you can play the game to
prepare for much scarier games like BP and Amnesia.Atmosphere in Overture is
"on another level".A true survival horror should not have weapons or
they should be very scarce.Requiem is the worst of all, i think this one
should be avoided..

How are these supposed to be cons? Are you sure you preferred Amnesia? Wink
Yes i give the edge to Amnesia altho it is close. I honestly don't think Machine for pigs will live up to the original.
