Question

Can monsters follow you through different area doors?
I was just in the storage and I got passed the lower grunt, then by much surprise I heard another one by the steps thinking it was going to come out that side door... Big Grin

to which I ran around the corner right into it, but I managed to run out of the storage area [with the feeling of dread as I heard it behind me!] and I quit lol. Can it follow me through into the area I just entered or am I safe when I resume playing?
