Solved: 10 Years, 3 Months, 1 Week ago EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error on startup

I'm getting an expection error the moment I try running the game, i've tried running the game on the lowest settings as well as running it with administrator rights.

PC Specs:

OS: Windows 8 64-bit

CPU: Intel Core i7 - 3770k @ 3.5GHz

RAM: 16gb 1600mhz

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4-TH

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 590

if anyone could help, i'd appreciate it.
