Intel or not Intel, it doesn't change the fact that TDD never gave me any problems on my laptop. Sometimes simpler is better.

[EDIT] Oh, and I seriously don't think it'd be any wrong to let the save file available in your guide for people who are using Intel, as it is clear this is the only part in the whole game where no configuration changing will let you go through, and also a great pity that an Intel card user can play everything except for the end.
