Tricky to do indeed!
If i may suggest something what i really prefer!
make a lot of custom wall textures and use them with PLANES.
That is how i did almost the entire mod Premonition.
It looks amazing and could be very handy.
Easely stretchable and you can have your own textures whereever you want.
