As far as I see it, the GPU and CPU you have should be more than enough to run this.

Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3
AMD Athlon II X2 250 (OC'd to 3.6GHZ)
6GB DDR3 1333MHZ

And I can run this at a solid 60FPS with some things turned down, so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to. I personally use Driver Booster and solidly updated more things than I knew of.

Oh, and try to watch your Firewall. It usually interferes with Steam. I had that happen to me. And watch out for DEP (Data Execution Prevention). I dunno if that has any say in your situation, but I know some things weren't working finely due to DEP before in my case.
