HPL2 doesn't support .JPG images. I remember having them exported as so from Sony Vegas, and they would not work. Mind, I'm not talking about simple .jpg images, but the uppercase extension. It seems to be handled differently. Perhaps the engine was never made for uppercase extensions, cause I think it is the same format. JPEG is slightly different though.
