How much violence is OK for a video game?

I don't believe the ''it forced you to do something'' arguement is valid, you've bought the product, and if you have you should know what you're in for, if you simply do not purchase the game you don't have to kill anyone.

And here's another thing I've been pondering, people claim it is fine for GTA to do these things because of its satirical nature, however watching the trailer to Hatred I hear absolutely nothing but dripping satire, I'm not sure if that was intended by the devs or the result of the bad writing but it just seems like a big goof to me.
