Maybe the lantern should be placed down on the table, with physics etc so the item moves when you move the table? Then again it'd be a little hard to program if there are already objects on the surface. (So it doesn't spawn inside another object, or cause some crazy collisions)
The lattern did bother me later after watching the video a few times, but I do still love how things naturally fell over or off the table like you were actually frantically dragging it over yourself in your own room. Awesome.
