Chansel and torture chambers. [Spoilers!]

I'm really stuck to the point where you meet Agrippa. I've gone through all my lantern oil and even light up all the cells in the next room to find something. I've also got the hunk of meat and letters from the chansel. I also found the cogwheel thing in the hatch above the empty torture rack next to Agrippa and repaired it. Still, can't figure out where to go next at all.
