Path Nodes and Scripting Them

I did try searching the forums for something along these lines but I wasn't able to locate anything. I should probably also say that I'm under the impression that a path node would be the track along which an entity (presumably an enemy) walks along, right Undecided?

If that is indeed the case, how would one go about scripting the path nodes? I'm sure that's quite a broad question, but say for just scripting an enemy to go from its starting point to one path node.

Thanks all!
